They tried to do the Money for the Black Farmers and it got stopped by a lawsuit from some random CAC and a Sympathetic CAC judge wonder if the same thing is going to happen with this legislation

The narrative has changed so many times I can't even tell whether posters don't believe the Black Farmer legislation exists, don't care that it exists, or don't realize that Democrats passed it and conservatives are doing everything possible to stop Black folk from getting it.

Who is stopping it? A few federal judges. Who nominated those judges? Republican presidents and senators. So some idiots here think the solution is....to put Republicans back in power again so that they nominate even more racist judges that will block even more pro-black legislation? How does that help?

They do realize that because Republicans were in power for 24 of the last 40 years including the most recent 4 years, they've picked most of the judges in office in this country. And they do realize that if Republicans get in power again they'll keep picking more justices. And they do realize that even if the Democrats promise $100 trillion in reparations, and win, and write the legislation and pass it.....it will still get blocked by those conservative judges.

So what's the gameplan? How it is going to work for y'all to put even more conservative justices in power and then think anything for Black folk is ever going to come out of that?

Yes, that's what's happening. But his claim that therefore there is no incentive for black votes is completely illogical.

Obama won easily in part because black turnout was high. Clinton lost in part cause black turnout was low. Biden and Warnock won in Georgia cause Black turnout was high. There is big-time incentive to appeal to Black voters in order to increase turnout and win elections. You don't need to have Black people voting for openly racist Republicans in order to create that incentive, that's some wack fukking manipulation straight from the Tucker Carlson/Candace Owens types right there. Unless Black turnout reaches a reliable 90% in every election, there will always be incentive to appeal to Black voters.
