Dwelling in the lab, I assumed it was his first

the Bay Area scene was much better back in those days.

jt is a scammer, he’ll smile in your face and stab u in the back

I really fear he’s about to hustle those Africans

Don't Stop Til We Major was his first. Used to bump the shyt out of it back at my cousin's house in the mission back when it was maney out there lol

I used to always listen to that, Playaz n the Game, Dwellin In the Labb, GLP’s first 2 albums, etc..

I think he had Dank or Dope before Don’t Stop Til We Major, he released that on one of his later albums.

Damn shame what happened to mr cee

Black C said that Mr. Cee was a case of mistaken identity, the killer thought he was Hitman.

I had forgotten about that Playaz n The Game album. Gonna have to run that one back sometime. Not sure if I remember or even heard of Dank or Dope by him

Dont stop till we major? or Dwellin in the Lab? A lot of people think he started with Priority but he had a whole run on his Get Low Records before that.. dude is a legend but a fukking sociopath and a liar. I used to love his production though.

My friend was hanging out with Quinn back in the late 90s and even Quinn said something like “I got love for JT but he IS a businessman”.

My old co-worker was telling me how JT just started talking to him and tried to talk him into putting up money to promote a show. He wasn’t the brightest guy but he wasn’t dumb enough to trust him.

Dank or Dope has that really low budget feel, you can tell he was just starting out.

I had seen Game Recognize Game a bunch of times on CMC and bought Playaz n the Game looking for it, and it was a different version. The radio version is the remix, off GLP’s Straight Out the Labb album.

The Playaz N the Game version did have a Mall verse on it, so that was cool to hear.

JT use to be that nikkah. Dude fell off hard. Can't even go back to his section in fillmoe without any static and he was main guys to put hood on the map with the rap music.

What part of Fillmoe is he from? Friendship?

Those Fillmoe rappers seem to have serious drug problems. Quinn, Messy Marv, 4-Tay...I don’t know about JT but he looks like it

Dudes a super weirdo/scammer...I do believe he got paid cool for releasing The Game from Getlow records back in the day though

I vaguely remember this.

So Game signed under JT at one point, then Puff, then Aftermath, then YMCB?:picard:

No wonder he broke.:wow:

Lol that interview, telling people that if they wanna move to the US his best advice is to know how to bust guns :mjlol:

He also created No Limit and put on Atlanta’s new scene. Also he’s strengthening the bilateral relationship between Burkina and the US. I can tell that this dude must be doing a lot of :duck: to the people over there

what was that site that let you connect with bay rapper dudes for features etc and it had their prices up right there?

i remember being real infatuated with a lot of bay rappers in the 90s, and then when i saw their prices in the early 00s i was like :stopitslime: these dudes are really selling features for a couple hundred bucks/bum shyt.

JT was definitely one of em. How many scam books and stuff was he selling in the back of the source?
