I remember them but I only knew of this song with Freeway.
They know. But it’s Jay not Drake
THE CONCEPT WAS TAKEN
NOT JUST THE BEAT.
AS A NON RAPPER
YOU DONT REALIZE HOW EASY
MAKING A SONG BECOMES
WHEN THE CONCEPT IS ALREADY LAID.
ITS LIKE BEING A FEATURED
ARTIST LAYING A VERSE
ON A FINISHED TRACK
SAME WITH FEELING IT.
JAY WAS ABLE TO TAKE
AN ALREADY ESTABLISHED FLOW
AND WRITE AROUND THAT.
IT WASNT JUST THE BEAT
That’s how it is nowwas every song on BP stolen
Hova da fraud
He heard it through Beans, but he got it through Jay Brown. That they've said as well. They don't really care, but their team DID care. They didn't even know Jay took it. He never asked them for it, so it was stolen from them, they found out about it later and had to fight to get some sort of credit for it. And these are told through numerous interviews throughout the years, we're talking 20 years of random interviews. They were on hella Philly DVDs talking about it then. They really are nonchalant about it, but it's their team saying how they had to fight for it. How Beans let Jay hear it, how Jay Brown (Bink's manager at the time) somehow got it to Jay. Even if Jay got the beat, what reason would have need to take the title, concept and cadence?I really don’t know what you are saying.
90% is what I said, and 10% is PR for the bum Oschino. This is their own words and the interviews are out on the internet.
And it had nothing to do with Beans or any SP or Philly dude according to them. It was straight industry through Jay Brown.
Oschino and “not hating” in the same sentence is just hilarious. He said their song got stolen and that it’s shady practices. While they said it was exactly the opposite . Specifically replying “we’ve heard people in their lil interviews say that our shyt was stolen or shady practices, that’s a lie”
He did use that time to inform the world that he ghostwrote lines on Sigel’s back & forth with JadakissAnd no one has ever called or thought of Oschino a hater. He's been called many things, but never a hater. Even when he and Beans were beefing for like 20 years, he called him a bunch of names, but never a punk or said he couldn't rap.
No one posted the original to “never change”
I’m not hearing any lyrics stolen or bitten so basically Jay took the beat from these guys like he took the Feelin It beat from Camp Lo.
I see no foul on the play here. I don’t even know why Jay would pay these dudes. It’d be like Pac paying Nas for using the All Eyez On Me/Street Dreams beat or vice versa.
JAY bit the entire damn blueprint from unsigned artists..disgusting camel hybrid shark ass punk.
Not the full story. They've spoken on this numerous times. They really don't care, because according to them, their fingerprints and influence is all over the industry...so it shows how stamped they are. The chains and locks Treach wore came from them. Plus they get money other ways.
Jay heard it through Beans and stole it. Lights, Camera, Action was only the beat that was sold to Cheeks, not their entire song. All I Need was their beat, song and concept. The only reason they got paid was because their paperwork was right, and they had to demand to be paid, so their names are on the credits. And that was after he had already taken it, so it's not like he willingly paid them. But the track was recorded '98/'99 for the album that got shelved, because one of their members did get killed. Meek Millz being locked up and Feds on they top was during their album that did come out. They still continued to do writing, production in the industry.
Oschino isn't hating and actually is cool with Sonny Black. He had Sonny and Bink on the first episode of his podcast. Sonny told him O how he always respected him and how he moved and was glad to finally get a proper introduction. How do you think O found out that Jay stole this song? NAAM's ish was buried for like a decade before it resurfaced. Besides, everyone in State Prop have mentioned all of their songs that Jay stole from them and other members...even when they weren't cool with each other.
