Cube was back cool with both Dre and Eazy by '93 and told Eazy he'd be down for a reunion only if Dre was involved. But then there's this...

See the awkward tension here? Ren is like "I'm down for a reunion if everybody's involved" while Eazy's like "We're doing it without Dre". Eazy also said in one of his last interviews "Cube is cool but Dre on some other stuff." This video also brings context to when BG Knoccout says Ren wasn't around Ruthless a lot in the last days. Ren was a fan of Dre's Death Row work and didn't take sides in the beef.

That's why I was :jbhmm:at those scenes in Straight Outta Compton where Dre and Eazy are laughin it up on the phone talkin about a reunion. Even after he fired Jerry Heller, Eazy still not messin Dre behind all that happened with the disses and that whole Suge situation. He was still recording Dre disses near the time of his death.

On the flip side, I heard that Dre and Eazy lived around the corner from one another and really did speak on occasions. By '94 it was mostly Dogg Pound riffin with Ruthless. Dre wasn't even talkin about Eazy anymore. Remember this...

It's all very sketchy. I find it hard to believe Dre and Eazy were talking about a reunion while Eazy was still doing diss records and radio interviews.

That was about Ren breh. They squashed it quick though that's why they took out the "Ruthless" rhyme. Ren is on the start of "Some L.A. nikkaz"

Dude it's like a 6 Bar diss, and he takes out one word... Does not mean he took the diss out. I didn't even know that he said Ruthless and I knew he was talking about Yella.

Yeah... I haven't seen S.O.C. but I thought it was famous knowledge that Eazy died beefing with Dre. It's a sad story but very significant in even showing how seriously people took beef

an to the other part, I got a friend who I don't fukk with anymore, I still speak to him on occasion. Doesn't mean we don't both know the friendship is dead

Yeah they always said the only one who really stuck around Eazy was Yella.

Gotta remember Ren became involved with the Nation of Islam and was trying to live a righteous life.
