Because Romney makes his legacy off of being such a wonderful Governor of Mass. That's like the ultimate disrespect, to run for presidency and not win your home state and the state you governed in.

There's a good chance R-Money won't get Michigan, there's no chance in hell, he'll get Mass.

Thus his reputation is garbage. The same way people cast their vote off of, what they "think" sounds presidential.

What were Romney's approval ratings in massuchusetts thats a much better indicator of how he did.

I thought that's what the right wing said Obama was, an epic failure. And Romney's approval rating when leaving Mass. governorship was 34%.

i've wondered at this myself. I don't think it'll ever actually happen, especially considering the military bases in those places are comprised of a shyt ton of people from those blue states. ALso consider that while a lot of LAND is red, the population by and large is located in those blue states....
