Lol @ the idiots that don't get how talented Kurupt is. Em mentioned him in that list on til I collapse for a reason. In that era 3 names were known to be lyricists on the west with the other 2 being Xzibit and Ras Kass.
Does Kurupt string random words together? Absolutely. He also literally sounds like a special Ed student who can't stay focused on one subject but that is all post prime Kurupt.
Kurupt may not have a classic album but he has significantly contributed to several. Both Chronics, Doggystyle, and all eyes on me.
Kurupt's style is clearly that of a battle emcee.
X on the other hand never has or will be lyricist of the year. That's why Prodigy (an actual great lyricist) said he wasn't feeling him. Same reason Jay told Nas that X wasn't.
X has a great energy and powerful presence. His music has strong emotion to it. I'm willing to bet that his delivery was used to win a lot of battles when he was doing that. With people like MOP and Canibus the voice makes all the difference in how hard bars hit. Sane way people historically (MC Shan) and currently (Troy Ave) who have weaker sounding voices that make lines not sound as hard as they should.
X has no 5 mic album nor has he appeared on one. He is not Biggie, Jay, or Nas.

and kurupt I think has a borderline one with dogg food. But kurupts discography is so garbage it's hard for me to put him in the top 25 maybe even top 30 on some real shyt. Dmx is miles ahead even if he's a crackhead recently I saw kurupt on drink champs he looks like hes on crack as well. Kurupts talented but there's many better there was a time I would've maybe put em in the top 25 but all I see is that garbage discography and overrated wack songs wen kurupt shines is on guest appearances but that could be a hit and miss too. He's nothing and every project he was on would maintain their greatness without his presence. He can rap but is totally forgettable and can't hold a candle to Dark Man X.
