Same as that. I was a big Shyne fan, his debut is a classic to me. I remember reading the XXL magazines when he was on the front cover, interview was dope. I was hyped for him coming out. Him getting deported obviously didn't help, but the music he did release was awful. Straight garbage. Then I think he dropped that Gangland tape in 2012 and I knew it was a wrap. shyt was terrible.

His voice was completely shot when he came out. I dunno what the fukk happened to him when he was in there but he did not sound the same at all.

Honorable mention to Tru Life as well. Came home and made some videos about eating Cereal with Champagne and then did nothing.

Tru Life was more of a goon than a rapper….

Future probably has him set up real good so I doubt he’s tripping.

I’m glad that he squashed the beef with Phantom P before he died

Boosie should get a honorable mention…

When he came home, he didn’t even drop a first day out. Those same fans didn’t buy his album

He should have capitalized off that.

One thing that I liked about Gucci was his self awareness. He knew that he’d be locked up so many times so that’s why he had so much music in the stash.
Boosie rebuilt his career from the ground up, slow grind, now he’s more famous than he ever was and still dropping heat.

Yes he did… Nigha already has a dedicated fanbase down South and other surrounding states. They love Boosie up here in Baltimore, MD.

He has a better work ethic than Webbie who Pimp C actually had faith in.

I’ll bump Boosie on a good and bad day and still watch his Vlad interviews. His opinions on things be on point despite how ignorant he sounds.

That was the last original NY sound. I remember Bobby was beefing with chief keef and dissing the whole city of Chicago way before 69 did it and was considered a death wish. By the time they came out NY started copying others and doing drill music and they never recovered not to mention how sus schmurda came out
When they dropped people were saying they were drill :heh:

And NY drill evolved to be different than any other version
