Idk why Rowdy didn’t take off there were songs that was hard and flames that dropped when he got out

Bobby was the definition of one hit wonder though :francis: The dance helped push the song but other than that he really couldn’t rap and wasn’t a good song writer. Rowdy is dope though

They were supposed to immediately use the music momentum to solidify business in something else where personality would carry them

They should've been treated like how women artists are :hubie: respectfully, everyone ain't built to make albums or have consistent hits

I agree especially for Bobby. His "took more time for his mans" story gave him a easy layup.
On the other side of the coin, after Gucci, I think Gunna has the best post jail comeback
Gunna ain't really sit down like that tho, nobody felt like his style might be dated by the time he got out

He was moreso fighting the snitch allegations and started working out

I'd compare him more to Rick Ross who also went into his prime as he fought allegations from a street rapper people respected more

Boosie should get a honorable mention…

When he came home, he didn’t even drop a first day out. Those same fans didn’t buy his album

He should have capitalized off that.

One thing that I liked about Gucci was his self awareness. He knew that he’d be locked up so many times so that’s why he had so much music in the stash.
