Seems that dubstep and wub-step/brostep are entirely different sounds.

What about the Future Garage? I like Synkro, Burial and Submerse's stuff. DFRNT is cool too.

True. There have been some mad producers out there putting out some good garage. Asa & Sorrow are making mad beats. Still not the same as it used to be (once again so solid crew can suck fat one).

:snoop: there's no such thing as future garage, just as there's no such thing as post dubstep, chill-step, wub-step (:heh: seriously?) I was literally there when them terms first got coined and it was by the london hipsters and 'heads' who were 'too cool' to listen to the same genre of music and be apart of the same scene as the people who enjoyed brostep back in 2010. It was because of james blake the term post dubstep got created even though its just dubstep and post dubstep doesn't mean anything in terms of definition. Tbf, there was no such thing as brostep back in 2010 and it was a troll term people used to give roid heads, uni louts and chavs that would take off their shirts and be fist pumping snd moshing in nightclubs whilst that music was playing (those were dark days brehs :sadbron:). The fact those 'brostep' producers legitmized that term shows how much of a bunch of clueless bandwagon wasteman they were

They didn't ruin Garage.

So turning a mad genre into a gangbang and violence riddled garbage isn't considered ruining it eh? I give it up to Oxide & Neutrino for quitting that group (the only talent that was on the group).

Tbf if it wasn't for so solid, grime wouldn't have formed how it did so they're a catch 22 for me :manny:. Plus, they came out at an impressionable age for me so I was just always in awe of watching people who spoke just like me, dressed just like me and came from ends just like mine bussing down the whole industry.

But I can easily understand if someone hates their music and what they did. Funnily enough, in Britain so solids reign is known as the 'champagne era' which is the British equivalent of the 'shiny suit' era :krs:

Garage was going the down the wrong path before that.

After 99 Garage became essentially, fast cheesy R&B. Everything that made the genre was soon being chucked out the window.

The whole Bling thing really poisoned Garage, and on a whole, Garage was ran terribly.

Megaman is/was supremely talented as is asher d (although in acting in asher d's case)

Ill agree with you there. Id listen to a group consisting of just asher d, megaman and oxide & neutrino. But for romeo, lisa mafia all those them peeps, I cant say the same.

Your reply makes no sense, Garage was gonna fall, regardless if So Solid ever existed. And Garage was infested with Gangsters before SSC ever popped on the scene.
