Not really the new era began with the brand split coming back and that continues on...maybe we'll see significant changes once SD moves to FOX.

this,to a degree...The array of talent they had at their disposal due to the fall of ecw and wcw cannot be denied. Whatever era the invasion angle was (till about before cena became made) cannot be lumped in the same category as the last 13 years

thats what they've been saying but i think you are missing the bigger picture, they have spin off shows on E now ffs. They are knee deep in philanthropy like the faux anti-bullying venture. The patriarch of the family is a politician. Most of the rasslin minds are either out of the biz or dead so all there is are hhh guys or homogeneous individuals that were cultivated through the farm. And lastly the talent just isnt there any more. I am sorry but a faster workrate mixed with aerial manoeuvres doesnt automatically mean better wrestling, all these indy guys are kinda of indistinguishable. And optics matters, if all the top guys look like cruiserweights thats not good

Agree somewhat, but 02-07, and 08-now are clearly different eras. 2008-09 is somewhat of an outlier though, as it was the start of 100% PG after the Benoit family deaths, but I feel like those two years had a bit of standout stuff compared to the pure boredom and apathy of so much of 2010-now.

HHH won't make wrestling "cool" or "acceptable" either. When WCW when down, wrestling lost many fans that would never, ever come back.
