Since this is a reactionary thread we'll look at the game today.

Romo threw the ball 19.....NINETEEN times. Targeted Dez 4 times and he had 3* catches. He did what he was suppose to do. Dez plays a huge part in what others in our offense does as it pertains to them getting favorable match ups and coverages. (Case in point no safety being in the play on TWill's TD because he over the top of Dez)

When you're looking at a team that rushed the ball 28 times and thew it 19, there isn't gonna be glamours passing stats. If Romo was sitting back there letting it rip 50 times then Dez's numbers would reflect that. Our offense isn't that tho. The pass comes from what our running game does and when he pass it based on the open man. With as many weapons as we have it would be idiotic to force feed Dez the ball.

That doesn't take anything from Dez or any other receiver you'd like to replace him in our O for. TOP is what our offense is about.

And pretend like he didn't go up against an elite defense and unfavorable passing conditions in two games either.
