2 years ago when we were all still in a frenzy over this movie and anticipating every bit of info/leaks we could find... what if i had come back in a time machine and told you that the reason batman and superman fight is because lex luthor kidnapped superman's mother and told him if he doesn't fight batman then he's going to kill her.

This is true, because I wanted to see a good movie and I got a poorly mad piece of crap instead. Maybe if I had rated the movie honestly for what a piece of crap it was, I would definitely have given it a 5/5, because that movie sure was a 5* piece of crap.

I hate MoS, I never used that as a reason why I wouldn't enjoy BvS (assuming they would fix what they did wrong in that one).

I wasn't aware of this so let's talk about it. This guy basically works for Marvel. He puts out false rumors concerning DC and FOX movies. He's the same guy who said that Suicide Squad was doing reshoots because of how Batman V. Superman turned out, which is false. They added action sequences, not more levity.

You go on RT and people like him have already given Civil War a positive review. There's nothing that DC could put out that he would give a positive review to.

Now before you say "well, you're just a hater", not true at all. There are a bunch of Marvel movies I like and I'm excited for Civil War as well. But this is what RT has become over the years. It's not actual film critics reviewing these movies. It's people with agendas who work for little websites that nobody cares about.

I support your argument on two fronts. One being that there's a lot of unprofessional critics that are incapable to put their bias or corporate payout aside to give a honest review even if negative. One of the rare exception (to whom I disagree a lot but is indeed fair in his criticism) is John Campea and he's not even a RT critic. The other is ROTTEN TOMATOES itself as well as the rest of these aggregated percentage websites. It makes the reader lazy by look at the rating ALONE or the out-of-context quote and presume the extreme that it is absolute garbage or absolute masterpiece. But most of the time if you READ what they say, many of those who review negative for a film speak out reasons that others may love it for and vice versa.

The ONLY THING I dis agree is this DC/Marvel issue and RT because RT is owned by WB. So, it's not like they're cherry picking reviews.... any one that's a amateur critic can become a member... and I think that's the BIGGER issue. We got a lot of these amateur critics with a little ass blog that do not know shyt about movies or journalism that easily sign up on RT and right a half-ass bit that shows no kind of nuance whatsoever.
