How? The only time we were in the ply off hunt last year was when eric was healthy. Bledsoe is still arguably our best defender and offensive player.
tell'em breh

He's not trying to prove himself? How and he's gotten better every year?
Nah he still a top 3 on ball defender at his position.
Dragon had ONE good fluke year,he hasn't played at that level since. Bledsoe>>>Dragic.
And even then Bledsoe was still better that year because he played BOTH ends
Of course. Sooner rather than later.Let's pose this question brews
Can Book be the best SG in the league one day?
You tweaking Bledsoe strikes fear into nikkas heart when they got the ball. Imma up this post when eric GAWDSOE leads us to the offs.No way.....You watch all the games? Bledsoe has declined on D the last 2 seasons.Concurrently with his overall physical decline. He doesn't have the same athleticism he had back in 2013.Plus his IQ/decision making skills in contested games down the stretch are a net negative.
And Dragic was a perfect match for the Suns style of play. They should've let him continue to develop in their system.
Everybody knows the Suns & PG's go together like peas & carrots.Known for exaggerating pg's from a statistical point of view.
17 & 7 with the Suns is 14 & 5 with another team.PG's flourish here.
I'll always insist his defense is overstated.Judging by Phoenix Suns standards, he's a "beast"
But on many other teams, he'd be considered a good defender, but not some awesome monster.
Y'all talk like he's made a few all defensive teams. He might be somewhere in the 2nd/3rd tier of defensive players
Especially current Bledsoe.I wouldn't rank him on any tier.
But even at the top of his game defensively, he was a step behind guys like Avery Bradley, Mike Conley, Pat Beverly etc..etc..His low IQ gets in the way.I've seen him make spectacular blocks with crazy athleticism, but I've also seen him go brain dead and miss assignments.Never the most consistent.
He was never On that Butler/Kawhi Leonard level.
So all I'm saying is he was never some transcendent defensive player who was so good on that side of the ball that it could make up for his lack of talent/flaws in other areas of the game.
I could say Dragic and his efficiency in the Suns system= Bledsoe's D
It's a toss up really because they're both 2nd/3rd tier guys not worth arguing over.
Abundant & interchangeable

As I said before Bledsoe is still a top 3 defender at the PG position,Butler and Kawhi are SG/SF,name 3 better on ball defenders than Bledsoe at PG.
NO NO NO,when Bledsoe was in LA and his job on the Clippers was to defend, you crazy he was def on the level of Pat Bev,Mike Conley,ETC yea he had mental lapses but you crazy if you think he wasnt on the level.
His DEFENSE was all nikkas knew him for in LA,real hoop heads could see he'd be good if he got a starting role, but all he was known for in LA was defense,so I dont get what you mean.
Dragic was never the defender Bledsoe was EVER
This ain't that Bledsoe....Conely, Wall, and Beverly presently>>>>
multiple injuries and big contract got him in a malaise.
I see him bouncing around the league and becoming a journeymen in the next couple of years
How and he gets better every year breh???
He averaged a career high in steals last year bruh, and tied his career high for blocks per game
6.7 PPG, 3.6 APG, 2.8 RPG, 1.1 SPG
3.3 PPG, 1.7 APG, 1.6 RPG, 0.8 SPG *Tore Meniscus*
8.5 PPG 3.1 APG, 3.0 RPG, 1.4 SPG
17.7 PPG 5.5 APG, 4.7 RPG, 1.6 SPG *Tore Meniscus*
17.0 PPG 6.1 APG, 5.2 RPG, 1.6 SPG
20.4 PPG 6.1 APG, 4.0 RPG, 2.0 SPG *Tore Meniscus*
Stats don't tell the whole story.Steals are a "behind the 8 ball" stat.
Steph Curry, Kyle Lowry, and Monte Ellis averaged more steals than Bledsoe.
Are they better defenders?
On top of that, it's a small sample size....he's constantly injured.Only played 30 games last year.
Of course. Sooner rather than later.
RIGHT Mix his on ball D with his ability to actually get steals and you have a top 3 defender at his position. You must don't watch Bledsoe
What's yo beef wit dude, everyone knows Bledsoe is Phoenix best player,he hit yo chick breh?
Booker is no way better than Bledsoe right now and Bledsoe is a legit top 10 PG when healthy.
Booker gonna have to prove he better, these preseason games where Bledsoe is only taking 3-4 shots a game mean nothing
I've watched damn near every Suns game since 2004.
I don't have anything against Bledsoe.I don't think he has the intrinsic attributes of a great player. He lacks the leadership qualities/IQ.
Booker has it in spades.
It's not really about who's better at the moment.I'm looking at it from a value standpoint. This is Bookers team.
There's not a GM in the league that would take Bledsoe over Booker.
It seems like you just have a personal affinity for Bledsoe(Esepcially the Bledsoe of 3-4 years ago).....Only thing I ever liked about him was his athleticism.
He'll capture your imagination there.
