Ross originally wrote a different verse for this track. When Kanye heard it he pulled Ross aside and said: “I know you can do better.” Ross was offended but when back in the booth and came out with this masterpiece

I don’t think it gets highlighted enough but Ross is one of best descriptive imagery writers in Hip-Hop. The way he can paint a whole scene in one bar. Very Biggie-esque in that way.

“Cherry red chariot, excess is just my character
All black tux, nikka shoes lavender”

Again, and not to take nothing away from Jeff Bhasker, but DID YOU READ the credits or are you just talking out your neck right now? For one, and I say again, nothing to take away from Bink! because he provided the sample which was the foundation of the track. It was a dope looped sample, but do not OVERHYPE a damn sample that ANYONE could of done. Also, Jeff Bhasker did not mix this joint, Jeff Bhasker did not play the guitar, the bass, and the piano, all the instrumentation that was PUT in that joint, and lastly, he wasn't credited for co-producing that joint. It was all MIKE DEAN. Do you even SEE Jeff Bhasker IN THE PRODUCTION CREDITS... so why you even bring HIS name up?

Bold print is false though, you need a special ear for that type of shyt. I guarantee if you gave the original beat to 10 producers, maybe 2 or 3 would notice that loop and thats if they only had similar thought patterns. Things like loops also depend on the day of listeng and etc,
