Let's appreciate this underrated denzel classic.

Devil in a Blue Dress is a 1995 American noir detective film directed by Carl Franklin and photographed by Tak Fujimoto. The film is based on Walter Mosley's novel of the same name and features Denzel Washington, Tom Sizemore, Jennifer Beals, and Don Cheadle.[1]

In 1948 Los Angeles, Ezekiel "Easy" Rawlins is a World War II veteran who has been unfairly laid off from an aircraft manufacturer, Champion Aircraft. He becomes a private investigator to pay the mortgage, despite having no training.

Yo that part is hilarious. Easy knows he fukked up too by leaving him with crazy ass mouse. He didn't have anything to say.

Classic movie. I remember reading they wanted to originally make a trilogy of Easy Rawlins movies. Would've been the perfect noir franchise for Denzel and Don Cheadle put in a star making performance......

Well i'd say it's under-appreciated since it's rarely mentioned as one of denzel's top movies.
