That unnecessary and uncalled for Cody/Tony slander :laff:

Well damn, are we taking shots at Steve Harvey, Billy Corgan, Master P, the ROH people and NJPW people too!?:dwillhuh:

I brought Cody up because he was the one who clout chased off unionization then hid his hands when he and his wife got all their benefits.

The issues that wrestlers face that could be addressed with unionization aren't exclusive to WWE. There's no accountability mechanism for the wrestlers to ensure that promoters do business the right way. It's an industry wide thing. Which is why when Jesse Ventura was trying to bring people together he specifically mentioned calling up the guys in Charlotte (Crockett) a union based solely in one company will always be compromised, watch a guy like Undertaker fukk around and become a rep and see how quickly the whole thing caves in.

Beyond just money, wrestling literally has no standardized minimum health and safety requirements. You brought up ROH, they fukked around and didn't have any concussion protocol when Kelly Klein got hurt and iced her out when she complained, now they've tried to erase her and her belt from history and that happened like 2 years ago.

Off the top of my head if we use Ventura's locker room meeting as a starting point (2 weeks before Wrestlemania 2) then some of the fukk shyt that could have been avoided was

  • Bret and Montreal.
  • The Mass Transit Incident.
  • Abdullah running around giving everyone Hepatitis.
  • TNA and Jesse Sorensen incident.
  • TNA not paying people on time.
  • Heyman dikking people around with their money and them finding out that he was done with them when he rocked up on WWE TV.
  • Ashley Massaro allegedly getting raped on a Tribute to the Troops tour.
  • Jericho being allowed to run around and do whatever with COVID going on.
There's probably a million and 1 other instances of rampant unprofessionalism throughout wrestling that would have been stamped out if promoters knew that they'd have their shyt shut down. Its bigger than WWE.

Who the fukk thought Vince was going to give them a raise? He fired 50 people last year on way to record profits. He has been fukking people out of royalties for decades, even more so since the Network took off. All these billion dollar deals in the past few years and there have been no raises unless there's a contract dispute for someone who had a real shot of getting paid and making an impact elsewhere.

Now mind you, a corporation is not going to give raises unless they have to. Their goal is to maximize profits and cut costs. With that said, what does the talent value, doing loops every weekend and taking a crap load of extra bumps for extra money or wrestling 4-5 matches a month with no travel for the people in Florida. As long as WWE honors the contract they can’t be mad at them. While I can see them not getting raises, the talent should get their wrestlemania bonus though. They definitely earned it, and with that peacock deal, they can allocate money to give everyone a nice bonus to keep them happy

Edit: found an article, it’s about employees, not the talent. Freezing raises and promotions due to a low fourth quarter. Hopefully, they make it up to them after Mania. I doubt it, bout hopefully

Is Vince not even giving a cost of living raise? Dude is acting like WWE is a small paper company operating out of a strip mall in Akron that is coming off of a lean year.

These losers sitting around wating for Andrew Yang to save them :mjlol:

No balls at all....closest thing they get to collective action is sitting in the back playing Xbox with a frown on their face.

You would think these muscle headed fukks would put the Xbox down and just say fukk this:camby:. But they are apart of the cult that is known as the wrestling business. Instead of "tweet tweet" they could be like "aight bet" and no sell NXT, Raw, and Smackdown by not showing up.

ESPECIALLY the boys in the back that forever getting shytted on, but needed for camera rolls, testing ropes, and other bullshyt that they will never get recognition for because "fukk em".

On a different note, I would beat the breaks off that vendor playing with my emotions during lunch time:francis:
