2008 was a different beast.
Literally anyone from 2004-2007 who had a heartbeat was getting Adjustable Rate NINJA loans. When the rates on those loans started to go up and folks could not refinance out those loans. It started the avalanche of foreclosures.

Today most current homeowners are locked into real low fixed interest rates
With the FED raising rates we will see home prices cool off for sure but not nose dive like 2008.

You're starting to see demand slow down though in a lot of industries and some companies having more workers than they need. Granted, a lot of this shyt is just going back to pre-COVID levels of business.

I know for my company we haven't been able to hire people we did add some summer seasonal workers but we literally have unlimited overtime.

Who would have thunk it? The Democratic party will be unelectable for atleast a generation.

Also keep in mind Republican POTUS's have always sank the US into a recession their past three tenures and I expect that trend to continue under either Trump or Desantis
