I know he struggling but you can't keep the best rebounder in the NBA on the bench in the last 2minutes.

Stanley Johnson:scust: had the nerve to trash talk bron. He shouldn't even be in the rotation when bullocks comes back. Devon booker would loook really nice coming off the bench right now.

Back to back :manny:and a career night from Lopez, from behind the arc of all places :francis:. 71 pts in the first half did them in and lack of rebounding down the stretch.

Play like shyt on the road. I understand the loss to a rolling LAC but loses to nets and suns is unacceptable. Need reggie back badly. Go into too many dry spells on offense. Teams are just daring Ish to shoot at this point.
Yep. Defenders go under every screen and just stay with Drummond and Ish can't make them pay. Still this is a game they should have won. When the Suns weren't turning the ball over they seemed to get whatever they wanted on offense. This is a game Stanley should have fit more minutes. Tobias was invisible tonight.

Yeah son's Jumper is broke, he was figured out after a few games. He was hitting J's initially to start the season though. I don't know maybe starters minutes are getting to him.

Can we all agree that Drummond is not a franchise player? I watch these games and just do not understand the hype around dude. He's a great rebounder (even tho he leaves shooter open to grab some), he's athletic but wtf else? Below average rim protector, trash offensive moves, and he's lazy. I used to feel bad for him when SVG would just dog him out in the media but now I'm just like :ehh:

He's not a superstar but is a star. There are very few franchise players. Only guy in the league that makes 20 reb games look easy. Pnr is a huge part of his game so as long as Ish Smith non shooting self is on the floor with him those pnr opportunities disappear because they just dare Ish to shoot. He'll look a lot better once Jackson comes back. Doesn't help when you try to play 1 in and 4 out with no shooters on the roster.

I understand that, but my argument is that he's not this franchise player we've ALL been thinking he would be once they made the decision him over Monroe. I give him props on the boards cause dude is a dog there but his inability to create offense -for himself or others- is why its looking like pure struggle for us at times without Jackson. This roster is adequate enough to be slightly above .500 until Jackson's return if he were as dominate as he could and should be. on BOTH ends.

He is what he is at this point :yeshrug:. His peak is probably a little better than Deandre Jordan and below prime Dwight. I don't think he is horrible defender just doesn't have good defensive instincts. It would help if he didn't always have to play next to an undersized PF all the time. Wouldn't mind if Morris went to the bench and they start Leuer.
Pistons only shot at taking next step is if KCP, Stanley Johnson, or Ellenson turn into an elite player. Which is probably wishful thinking. Not sure KCP will be worth the 20 mil he's going to demand next summer.

Probably 4th best player from a strong draft class behind Davis, Lillard, and Draymond. Pistons could do worse. Freakin Bradley Beal signed the same contract Drummond did.

:mjlol: Beal getting away with robbery at this point, he's never lived up to the hype consistently. And I think the reason Leuer isn't starting is a combination of Drummond not being good enough on D to make up for his lack of ability and SVG wanting to be able to switch a lot of the 1-4 actions teams run, Leuer to damn slewfooted to be out there more than 20 mins. But yeah u right about KCP and Johnson...I wish they'd develop into at least 17-20 a night type dudes because that potential wing defensive duo of those two would just be :ohlawd:

I don't think Drummond will be better then Jordan. Jordan is a much better defender. I don't think the pistons will ever make any serious noise parading Drummond out there as if he's a franchise player.

He probably is already on par with Jordan. All Jordan focuses on is defense, rebounding and put backs and lobs on a stacked team. He has zero post moves and doesn't look like he will ever develop any. Drummond is progressing with his post moves. Jordan is just LAC garbage man
