i gotta go with bones for this fight. outside of gus, he's pretty much destroyed everyone he's faced...and he's not afraid to do so while fighting to his opponents strengths, either. i don't know how to call it though. decision? tko? maybe he catches dc in a standing choke like machida? :manny:

i still think dc can take him down though. he has the speed and quickness to close the gap fast, he's super-strong and he's got great technique. plus he sets up his takedowns really well with his striking. i know bones is a great wrestler as well, but seeing how dc has ragdolled guys...i don't see why he couldn't get bones to the mat, especially if he's willing to eat a shot or two on the way in.

Jones gonna be against the cage doing the splits trying to avoid the takedown. DC to strong though and that nikka going up up and away n gonna hit the ground feeling like he just got gun butt with the trey

Machida was actually doing a good job against jones & even clipped him because jones couldn't time his range but then machida slipped up & got caught.

I agree with a lot of people when they say cromier will use the cain strategy to pressure & engage to make it dirty. He knows he can't stay on the outside & get picked apart. The thing about it is does cromier have a plan B or C? Jones is a great fighter & may run to not engage him & then what people are underestimating those front oblique kicks (which should be illegal) will make you change your strategy quick.

I swear this has become a myth that machida was doing good. He lost the first round then got destroyed in the second and stopped. shyt is funny how people still cling onto the machida was doing good narrative.
