The first three rounds I thought DC did great & fought his fight, I knew he would get gassed eventually & it was so frustrating because DC had NO offense in the 4th & he let jones keep him in the clinch most in the 5th. Also at the end of the 4th right before the bell when jones threw him on the ground was very telling.

Anyone can be beat on any given day, but it will take a lot to take down jones. Gotta give him credit, he has cleaned out the LHW division, took out legends & beat every fighter at their own game.

Nah, he tapped him before the fight and especially after the eye poke. Cormier didn't tap him when they came out in the opening round.

I had it 2-2 heading into the 5th. Jones took 1 and 4 and DC took 2 and 3. What did Jones do in the 5th besides the cheap shot at the end? DC arguably did more with the takedown and dirty boxing.

Cotdam, was you high? I had it 4 rounds to 1, with Cormier taking round 3.

Jones needs to up his fitness, he was very inactive towards the end with DC - Gus will take advantage of that so either JOnes needs to punished Gus first 2-3 rounds or they need him to be running 1/2 marathons.
