I try not to get too detailed cause many things can change from game to game, next game Kevin love could get hot, lebron could go for 46 who knows

Bottom line for me is, our defense too good to get blown out they offense too good for us to blow them out. So all these games will be close and it will be about whoever can get us baskets vs kyrie love and lebron.

True enough I don't fear they clutch like wade bosh and ray Allen were. But still it's 3 guys who can get you a basket vs our 1, rose. Unless you telling me kirk will duplicate that performance which we all know is unlikely

It's why Jimmy is so important cause not only can he defend the perimeter great but he can also create some kind of offense and hit a shot down the stretch.

Not to mention...Jimmy would've helped our rebounding...

I could say the shytty calls and Rose not playing during crunch time lost us that game....nah...

Tristan and those damn offensive boards beat us....He was a monster, and I can't do nothing but salute homie....He needs to be neutralized...Period.

The Cavs aren't fukking with us when we're healthy. LeBron won't score 36 with Jimmy back...Noah in shape would keep Tristan off the boards, With a lead and with Rose in the game, we're either scoring or sending Rose to the line to hold the win...

yea okay but now Kevin love is also lighting boozer ass up and lay ups become more easy on whatever side of the floor boozer on. And with noah having to recover so much on who boozer let's beat him it puts our whole defense in risk.

A lot of those offensive rebounds were long ones and Tristan got a couple down the stretch but honestly that Imo is a toss up. But with pau we make teams more of a jump shooting team.

Pau plays defense now, that is likely why he didn't have the legs to hit those shots down the stretch. I expect that to get better. But in the end if Jimmy rose plays and pau hits a couple of shots we win last night period.

I agree if jimmy has a kawhi leonard kind of run and gets us to the finals, I say give him his money, not like it's any other free agents on the market we can even afford and we still would have a exception to add another player. But we capped out anyway. Jerry can pay a little tax for a contender.

But if not, we deal him in the off season s&t get something valuable for him.

He is valuable. But it seems like he trying to get a loul deng kind of contract and I don't know if he worth that. If the asking price start. Going 12-14 I don't know if that's worth it. Unless he deliver us a title.

I dont think paying him over 12 when's he coming off a year where his offensive numbers were done across the board is smart.

The heat had 1 hell of a defensive scheme in slowing rose. It was never lebron checking rose, that heat defense was doing it and without a viable 2nd ball handler it was light for them to beat us down the stretch.

My worries become who can get shots outside of rose down the stretch of games. All the other things like rebounding turnovers etc will change game by game but bottom line is executing offense down the stretch of a playoff game. Unlike miami, we can get whatever shot we want vs cleveland but do we have the scoring to take advantage of that? That is where my worries are

I think they got a little full of themselves after the knick win because a lot of that was them not hustling every play. They run damn neer ten deep no reason they should be giving up boards like that. A lot of lazy play last night. They weren't giving that little extra effort.

Rose looks good but we need him playing. Hopefully its not like this all season.

All indications from the first two meetings with the Cavs are that Derrick will be able to score at will against them

that wasnt the case with the Heat defense

It seems unlikely that we can beat the Cavs in a 7 game series as presently constructed. Unless Jimmy turns into an 18+ppg scorer (which is doubtful) there's simply not enough scoring.

We seriously need another legit 20ppg scorer on this squad before I have any confidence going into the playoffs.
