Thibodeau backed off the 2-4 week projection for Butler a bit. Later said 1-3. And this is from original injury Oct. 19. Still, a blow.

Gar Forman just said Butler's injury will have no impact on contract negotiations and he met this morning with Butler's agent.
Rose: "I’m anxious but at the same time not as anxious as when I played for USA Basketball. I think my nerves calmed down a little bit."
Butler still has thumb wrapped, says he's hoping to play Friday. Thibs says it will be 2-4 weeks. All depends on discomfort level.
Rose: "First couple quarters I can get everybody involved. The 4th quarter is my time."

so it's been 10 days. he's basically day-to-day with this injury. not as big of a deal as I originally thought.
Friedell or someone said Buckets could probably play Friday, just depends on how he's feeling.

Yea I would honestly start Snell just for defensive purposes alone. I still think we will win tonight. NY has possibly the worst starting defensive lineup in the league outside of LA. Calderone on Rose?
