If anything the Clippers are the best team in the West IMO but if we make it out of the East then we're going all the way.
you, me & @red222 are the only ones who see it right now I think
this team is loaded and will win 60 games pending decent health and an all star or better Derrick (which I fully expect by around Xmas)
yes, @CHICAGO is right - the Cavs are absolutely stacked, I am not discounting that they may turn into an all time great squad
we got to get it THIS year and lay that winning foundation and never let the Cavs stay ahead of us in the game
its a two horse race for the East, fukk all those pretenders
I hope you're right breh, but I personally have no expectations for this season. These new dudes that they bought in this off-season, are going to have to show me something before I buy into the notion of us being legit contenders out here. I seen a report that Gasol is pretty much going to fill Boozer role, and won't finish games. That shyt makes no sense seeing as how he's signed to a 3 year deal. Will that be the plan for all 3 years that he's here? Not to mention that he's not the most mentally strong player in the league and not finishing games could start to fukk with him.... I think Taj is going to need to go by the trade deadline. They'll have plenty of suitors too because he can definitely start in this league and he's on a affordable contract.
All I want at this point is to see my nikka Rose for an entire season, and just let the chips fall where they may. It'll be interesting to see how Thibs and the organization as a whole will handle Rose, especially since there's going to be more back-to-backs this season to make way for the newly implemented week long all-star break - not to mention the Bulls traditional circus road trip.... Maybe they'll take a page out of OKC's book from last year and rest him some on back-to-backs. I actually think that wouldn't be such a bad idea. Let this team build character and resilience without Rose.... Look at Noah as an example. I doubt he'd be the same player without Rose going down, which forced him to be the leagues' only "Point Center".... That shyt trips me out to seeing him get the ball at the top of the key, and facilitate the offense

You know damn well PHX ain't giving up that diamond in the rough they uncovered in Dragic. They couldn't have ask for a more ideal shoe-in for Nash... He's unquestionably getting that max....
A more realistic option (we're running out of them at the SG at this point seeing how we've been linked to virtually everyone - Monta, Afflalo and,Lance to name a few, & ain't land one of em) would be someone like Mayo, & I don't even know if that nikka even has a pulse at this point.

We know what kind of teams win titles. Sorry Imo this just ain't it
You can't continue to trade moves toward improvement for "future flexibility" year after damn year and expect to build a contender. I like the additions of McDermott and mirotic. And I think snell can play. But those guys at this young stage of they career not getting us past cleveland if cleveland gels and def not past whoever coming from out west. Not year 1 brehs. Maybe a couple years down the line can we rely on them to be major contributors in game 6 of the ecf vs the cavs. Not right now imo.
So outside the youngsters were out legit scoring coming from in playoff games outside of rose? Maybe pau is motivated he was balling over seas. Maybe him and rose can carry while we play the lock down defense idk. But outside of rose and pau, and the youngsters, we got taj, Jimmy noah, mdj kirk and Aaron brooks. The saddest part is out of all those role players Aaron brooks is the best offensive option. That's just not good enough for me to declare us true contenders. Reg season warriors winning 60 plus, of course. Winning it all, I don't know bout that one.

Houston ain't winning shyt with Kevin McHale calling the shots. And their team got worse in the off-season...
