I joined @Rekkapryde 's COLI clan during the recent ps4 beta. just downloaded the app and i'm not seeing it, neither on bungie.net
A ideveloper isn't just going to lay all their cards on the table, especially because they made the mistake with the previous game in regards to the demo I'm just not seeing anything that has blown me away when it comes to this game. It's gonna be a good game and I'm sure I'll sink hundreds, if not thousands of hours into it, it's just hard for to get on the hype train about this game after last game.

Everything I've seen from this game has gotten the same, that's nice, but should be expected from a game of this magnitude, reaction from me. This game just has such a formulaic feel to it (at least in regards to PvE), until I've seen with my own eyes that Bungie can deviate from it, I'll always feel this way about the game.
all I really wanted was for exotics to really and truly feel exotic this time around. we haven't seen that many so far which is fine. shyt like Immobius, Ace of Spades, Monte Carlo, 4th Horseman, Suros Regime etc better not be what we get for 'rare, unique, powerful' weapons in this one. same goes for crappy exotic armor

Just based off the few new weapons we saw, I'm expecting much of the same. If the exotic armor synergizes with our limited perk set and creates interesting combo plays, that'll make them feel cool, but them bringing back old exotics like Starfire Protocol and the feed back fences isn't a good sign for that. Unless they overhauled the perks for these also.

Thing is, imo, worst case scenario is more of the same. Which is still fukking amazing to me.

I'm still going to sink 100s of hours into the game, it's just I know not much of anything isn't going to change. These 80 activities and EDZ they're bragging about are probably going to be limited to about 10 relevant ones and 0 reason to patrol by late October early November. Anything more than that is icing on the cake for me tbh.

I'm trying not to look at it as just that.

I'm more or less seeing at as all the late cycle fukkery (Black Spindle random quest, Sleeper, etc) with all of the early year 1 stuff that was really just unique just to that time frame. I still remember my early lifecycle parties where we stumbled into places with the ?? level markers and having to leave brehs behind. These new areas with all the detail of the plaguelands or dreadnaught.

That's certified piff.

Late game is probably stuff that'll come out as it comes out. TBH, VERY little has been stated about late game destiny 2 so far.

this might be my most hype game of 2017... i know there are some good games dropping in 2018 but nothing has me as hype as this game.
