What's in the beta?
Bungie has confirmed the following is in the beta:
- Opening story mission, Homecoming
- Two Crucible modes, Countdown (new to Destiny 2, attack and defend based) and Control (classic zone control)
- Two Crucible maps, the Felwinter Peak-set Vostokand Endless Vale
- Co-operative Strike, The Inverted Spire
- New sub-classes, Warlock (Dawnblade), Hunter (Arcstrider) and Titan (Sentinel)
- Social Space, The Farm (for one hour only on July 23 at 6pm UK time / 10am PST)
- New emblem to unlock in the full game if you play the beta
I just noticed (or forgot) that Bestbuy is offering an additional $10 GC if you preorder this game; That, along with the GCU discount essentially makes this game $38 on launch day.
Posting again: you can download the beta for free with a Hong Kong account or Japanese.

If you need people to run with with it comes out let me know... crew I roll with is deep and we run the raids about 10-20 times a week to get people through
When reset hits we usually on doing the raids right off the bat so our characters are done for the week and then it's just helping others beat it
