For me it's worth it, but worth is subjective.
I've gotten a ton of hours of entertainment out of this game, so it's a no brainer for me.
It's one of the few games this gen that has a full co-op campaign and that's important for me.

So, I decided to stop by the Destiny Reddit to see if the cycle of finding something to bytch about has already kicked off.
These dumbasses NEVER disappoint
Apparently, the new thing to be made about is infusion costing masterwork cores. People are mad because despite them being given weapons with random rolls like they bytched about for a year, they've been trying to infuse year 1 gear up from the old cap to the new one. Un fukking believable.
I swear most of the people that play this game aren't happy unless they have something to complain about.

Aside from my day job, my video production/recording studio business landed a big Navy contract that has been taking up the majority of my time but if and when I can get on I'll check for you guys. Yesterday I worked my day job from 8AM - 5PM and then I was editing video from 6pm - 4AM and had to be back at my day job at 8AM.

Is there a carryover from D1 to D2 or am I starting over? I downloaded the free D2 but don't see an option to keep any weapons/armor from D1?
Completely fresh start, breh. Nothing comes with you from D1. Since you're just jumping in now, it really won't matter. You'll be drowning in gear options from the start.
