Bungie - Job Detail

Bungie is looking for an experienced, creative, and technical Progression Designer for the Destiny franchise. As a member of the Live Team, the Senior Progression Designer works with a diverse array of disciplines to build and maintain Destiny’s monetization business: the Eververse.

I see what we're focused on at Bungie Studios :skip:
If they don't return money to investors, you won't be playing any games at all..

They could do that by making a better game instead of milking the Evervserse:pachaha:. The entire job description is centered around the long term goals of Eververse and not the actual game.

Its one, really small part of the economy :yeshrug: I ain't mad at them stretching out some money.

I will say that if CoO has shown me anything, is that this community just needs content and more frequent updates/patches. I mean.... its crazy how something as small heroic adventures, and new weapons to grind for like Forge weapons are such a great addition. I've noticed a few changes to strikes here and there, but it doesn't take much at all to get people buzzing again. If anything, all of these massive updates just put a target on their back.

How dumb do they look saying they want Mercury to mysterious and shyt "oh we're not gonna talk about the lost sectors here, they're hidden for a reason on Mercury" then we see the game and there's ONE lost sector - right there on the map too :mjlol:

Bungie is that girl from the dorm across the street saying she does all that freaky shyt then when you finally get her over she talking about turn the lights off :sadcam: just stfu and let us love you, Destiny. This shyt is easy.

finished the story dlc, couple more thoughts:

- that shyt was fun...like how they tied it up...

- the adventures, heroic adventures, etc. show that the infinite forest has so much potential....bungie could use that to do special events like a hoard mode; taking us places like the hive home world (which osiris ghost says they simulated it), etc....hopefully they learned from CoE, and will not waste the IF.....

- got my first forged weapon, the scout...that muthafukka hits hard...

- speaking of the forged weapons, bit of advice: finish the story and unlock the ability to get forged weapons before you do milestones....i say that cause you can get materials for the forged weapons while doing milestone stuff, i.e. public events, running strikes, call to arms, etc....also, open every chest you come across....there is a chance to get forge material from them too, but the game doesnt say that when you read what you have to do to get said material....

- it seems bungie did listen....there is more grind type stuff to do in this dlc...speaking of which: one is doing heroic adv to get materials.....one way to get around the '1 heroic adv per day' limit is to get a fireteam together and each of you grab a different adv....you will only get 1 powerful engram, but you'll be able to do multiple heroic adv to get more materials....

...overall, CoO is a nice dlc in the right direction...and at this point, d2/coo is ahead/better when comparing it to d1/TDB....will that trend continue, we'll see...but i'm not worried about it....

As long as Eververse doesn't turn into a "Pay to get ahead" type situation and stays purely cosmetic... they can do whatever they want :manny:

There is no better game without eververse. They would cancel the series. Destiny is small potatoes in the Activision blizzard lineup..
