finished the story dlc, couple more thoughts:
- that shyt was fun...like how they tied it up...
- the adventures, heroic adventures, etc. show that the infinite forest has so much potential....bungie could use that to do special events like a hoard mode; taking us places like the hive home world (which osiris ghost says they simulated it), etc....hopefully they learned from CoE, and will not waste the IF.....
- got my first forged weapon, the scout...that muthafukka hits hard...
- speaking of the forged weapons, bit of advice: finish the story and unlock the ability to get forged weapons before you do milestones....i say that cause you can get materials for the forged weapons while doing milestone stuff, i.e. public events, running strikes, call to arms, etc....also, open every chest you come across....there is a chance to get forge material from them too, but the game doesnt say that when you read what you have to do to get said material....
- it seems bungie did listen....there is more grind type stuff to do in this dlc...speaking of which: one is doing heroic adv to get materials.....one way to get around the '1 heroic adv per day' limit is to get a fireteam together and each of you grab a different adv....you will only get 1 powerful engram, but you'll be able to do multiple heroic adv to get more materials....
...overall, CoO is a nice dlc in the right direction...and at this point, d2/coo is ahead/better when comparing it to d1/TDB....will that trend continue, we'll see...but i'm not worried about it....
