This freakin raid man
How y'all doThis freakin raid man
Pretty much every raid...Wouldn't even call it a raid. Just a set of challenges with a boss at the end.
I was talking with @Rekkapryde about this last night:
Seems everyone in here wants to run the Raid but nikkas either ain’t on at the same time or when nikkas hop on, there’s a group already running it. However, there’s overlap in the raid teams so I suggested this:
Since the Raid uses the least progressed team member’s checkpoint for returning into a raid at a later time, at weekly reset we need to make at least 2 raid groups (if we can splinter more that’s cool too). These groups should run and see how far they get and we can share progress. This should result in:
nikkas having checkpoints for the rest of the week
nikkas can then splinter off into their own groups like normal since we all should have similar checkpoints
This can be done every reset if need be.
If this sounds like a good idea or sounds completely crazy, let me know

If you look on the clan screen in game there's something that counts how many times your clan has guided someone through raids and nightfalls. Idk if there's a reward for it yet but I think that's the intention. It's under Oathkeepers score.random thoughts:
- i get what bungie was doing with clans, but overall i'm not feelin it....instead of bringing the community together, it's isolated everyone into their own lil worlds....i say that cause now the majority are focused on their clan shyt mainly, making it hard to just get with randoms to do shyt....which is how i did a lot of shyt in d1.....hell, it's making it hard to game with cats that are on my friends list that arent in the same clan....
- to continue on: having a clan is ok, but i wouldnt be experiencing anything different if i werent in one...the clan i'm in is like 30 deep, yet i've only gamed with like 6-8 of them...the same 6-8 i've been gaming with for years....got me thinking what's the point of the fukking clan?...
- guided games is cool, but i think they really need to change how it works....no one wants to be helpers, everyone is seekers....and i think that's cause you have to have clanmates to do activities...i really think they should let people be able to be solo helpers...i was able to guide a couple people through the nightfall cause i was helping clanmates with it, but i'd do that shyt solo if i could.....
There REALLY needs to be rewards for guiders. This is the main reason there’s hour+ queue times now for the Raid and 40+ minute for Nightfall (even tho it says 17 mins). Issue now is that there really isn’t any incentive for clans to guide seekers. I’ve seen the following proposed to fix thisIf you look on the clan screen in game there's something that counts how many times your clan has guided someone through raids and nightfalls. Idk if there's a reward for it yet but I think that's the intention. It's under Oathkeepers score.
Sounds fine. I’m down for whatever.I was talking with @Rekkapryde about this last night:
