all they had to do was stick to the FRIGGIN 10 YEAR PLAN. Like why would you be like sike and come out with a sequel when folks were eating off of the last expansion?

The "10 year" plan got bushed when the big dlc for Destiny 1 got released. They renegotiated their contracts with Activision because they couldn't keep in track with dlc releases. The plan was to rebuild their engine from the ground up with Destiny 2 but they ended up just updating what they were already using
