Song is kinda dope for a rap song in this era I guess. No hate, but I don't see what makes it gimmicky enough for it to be a #1 song though? I know that nikka Future gotta feel some type of way about everybody basically running with a style he invented.

Like a song like Hot nikka made sense, it had that gimmicky catch to it.

Guess it is what it is.
My ATL brehs probably gonna get at me for this but I'll admit that hip hop needs NY breh. I'd be lying if I said outside of the dungeon family shyt and triple 6 and the rest of that Memphis shyt I didn't grow up listening to NY hip hop. I actually wanna see NY get back on they feet. But that don't mean we going anywhere either. NY brehs just gotta accept that

I want NY to stop biting other regions and following others.

man who cares who is supposedly biting who. atl did this atl did that. ny did this ny did that. thats great and all but there's plenty money out there for everybody to capture. all this regional beef is corny to me.

i personally never though panda was a future song, he doesn't sound like future. i guess its something that everybody ran with to try and clown him? desiigner might use some of the same lingo that everybody uses down south i guess but thats it.

It's been 4 years. How important was this record to NYC?

I think it finally showed NY's ability to break from tradition, and embrace new sounds, but was it a good thing or a bad thing?

Did it have any lasting effect 4 years later?
