Hard work and talent can open the door but tons of trash rappers got on by who they knew and talent alone will not cut it. Many talented people out there we don't know. Rappers even used to come to NY trying to get on and get a record deal and then once they got a deal and got put on by a label they had connections in the business. Being independent it's harder to make those kinds of connections but if you want to be successful most of the ways that's how it's done. You have to be plugged in. A lot of people that are indie even have old label exec working their label and what not.
Success is about who you know. You can't do it alone.

Aaight, I listened to this while I was making lunch and after dude calmed down he was able to tell the story as he saw it. He probably should cut a good bit of the first 5-10 minutes out of the vid, makes him look real BAD.
Again I already heard Desiigner got real flaky on people that helped him, so I'm not shocked. But you can't force people to bring you with them. Desiigner seems like the type to just steal your energy, front like it was all him, and keep it moving. I guess in a sense he's made for this business.

Facts, they had a lot of bangers but when that indictment hit them it was a rap for them. I heard they even fell out with Abilyon and recently Abilyon has resorted to dissing A Boogie..smh.
That's why if you gonna do this music thing I say you got to leave the streets alone. Can't have one foot in and out and you got to stay focused. On another note I remember when Desiigner got arrested, shyt was looking crazy for him. I'm glad they was wrong and he didn't have a burner on him.
