Tua and maybe the 18th pick, depends on what more Houston is giving up

Tua is going to be good once he stops being so damn timid and be aggressive. The receiving core is getting revamped this offseason. We don't really need Watson :manny:
You dont need a top 5 qb in his prime?

The only teams that wouldnt want watson next year is GB KC Buffalo Baltimore and ravens

Have we been watching the same football?

Mike Gesicki has emerged as one of the better tight ends in football. He’s been good to great for the past two years.

Also Myles Gaskins has balled out. He truly is their workhouse running back. He can run and catch. Dude is amazing.

Devante is WR1. Preston Williams and Lynn Jr have major upside.

they can easily bring in one more WR. It’s so many that are free agents this year!

Deshaun to Miami will be great and this is coming from a KC fan.

He will have a legit defense to back him also
Gaskins hasn't been consistent and injured.
Gesicki had periods during the season where he disappeared or was purposely ignored in favor of Shaheen. Though I do think Gesicki has the potential to have Dallas Goedert type of impact.
Preston Williams has now been hurt in 2 straight years.
DeVante Parker is not a game breaking WR and we have enough sample size to be confident that he's in that 3rd tier of receivers, at best. Tee Higgins as a rookie looked better than Parker has in just about any year of his career.

The potential at Miami is there. And they should keep building. But even with Watson, I'm not so sure the picks would be worth it.

It should be noted though that some of this depends on who Miami brings in as their replacement for Chan Gailey since a new OC will directly impact what skill players to get, and how they will be used.

Not worth it for Miami.
They're building a good foundation with the defense and even if they got Deshaun Watson, he won't have any real offensive weapons to win every week. DeVante Parker is a decent, but not game-breaking player. And the rest of the pass catchers are mediocre at best.

The Dolphins would be asking too much of him. It also puts tremendous pressure on Brian Flores to win immediately.

Watson is a good player but Miami isn't the place for him.

The Dolphins should focus on strengthening the lines and getting skill players for Tua.
DeShaun may very well be a Top 5-7 Quarterback currently. What have you seen from Tua that makes you think that he'll be that good?

They not gonna trade him in AFC. That leaves Washington,Dallas?New Orleans?Atlanta?Carolina?
He'd own that city. In years past I'd say that's a near-lock, but they do things differently there now - not sure they'd be willing to give up what they'd need to.

But QB's obviously an A-1 priority for them, and Riverboat Ron has plenty of experience working with dual-threat QBs, so who knows.
