If he were to hold out he wouldn't be paid the portion left or his salary; the guaranteed money is automatic if he holds out, just basically if he's cut or career injury

Ok . That sounds feasible. I dunno ... maybe Stafford might be the better option and enough to win and we can keep a few more assets in the process and we’d be better set for future development

Don't even think that's gonna be enough though so might as well get Stafford for a significantly lesser package and call it a day.
