Matt could’ve audibles out of it. Dan Quinn could’ve said run the ball. It’s a lazy narrative that it was all Shanny’s fault

Did Jimmy G audible out of run play calls that could've preserved the lead for the 49ers the last Superbowl.

Jimmy G wasn’t the reigning MVP or QB of a team in his 8th season. Matt said he could’ve audibled out of the play but chose not to. Our loss was a complete organizational failure, it wasn’t just on Shanny

Why would he want to go to miami? (Nice location I know)

49ers, saints, rams, bears, giants even...better options
Giants? :mjlol:

Well, NFC is trash. You may be right. In Miami, he’d actually be expected to win 10+ games a year to make the playoffs.

:ehh:

Deshaun Watson has the higher ceiling compared to Tua. At least right now. It's a bit unfair to put a cap on what Tua can become after 10 games. But Watson is better.
I have no argument there.

I just think you have to balance where the Dolphins are right now as a franchise with what they might have to give up to get Watson.
What's the long term plan? Because the way I see it, if you trade for Watson, your 3-5 year plan just got pushed up to now.
The Dolphins went 10-6 this year. The Dolphins pushed the 3-5yr plan to now, just by being better than expected so quickly. This team is too good now, to think about a 5yr plan.

This was a covid year. They had a weaker schedule and the Patriots had some of their main players opt out. The 10-6 record can be a little misleading. This team still has improvements to make and I don't think a new QB is a need for them.
