I get this and agree but still what's the end game with the Texans in all of this? Yes the league and its owners is a collective and if they do in fact collude to screw Watson or any player that wants to control their destiny.. the fact remains the Texans are still on the hook and are in the eye of the storm. These accusations sullies the name of Deshaun, the franchise, and to an extent the city of Houston itself. One big family or not the other teams are in the clear of all this. The average football fan, male or female, isn't getting this deep and will take this story at face value basically on some, "The Texans are a scumbag organization if they have a sexual predator as their QB and face of the franchise. I'm burning my jerseys and I'm done with team and league if he sets foot on the field again."Remember breh its not individual teams working for one goal. Its 32 teams working for the betterment of the league.
When these accusations started I felt it was the texans, the league/32 owners with NFL security intel saying...yall boys better realize this ain't the NBA. Yall ain't dictating shyt.
I mean must we forget about Kap? That was 32 teams all on "Code" as the internet folks say. And they white balling that brotha to the detriment of teams QB play.
As I tell folks with sports most this shyt isn't about winning. Making money yes, but winning...hell to the naw naw.
-You can't collectively collude to something if it could potentially burn the entire house down. Kaep was easy to blackball because the entire white football loving American was appalled and horrified to see a black man kneeling and not standing for their precious flag and anthem. They had an easy escape route with the Kaep situation by embracing the anthem and white America. Sexual assault is an whole different ballgame. You still have to ask what's the Texans gameplan or endgame in all of this?
