The only reason shyt like this works is because athletes are told to keep silent. If I'm famous, I know 100% that I'm innocent, I'm gonna mention it everytime a camera is in front of me.
I'd shyt on the lawyer and the bytches on a daily basis.

Yep thats exactly why. Plus they are public figures and their careers are based off PR and image. So it is difficult for an athlete to go on the offensive and call out accusers. Add that the victims can stay anonymous and the accused can't. So athletes have to walk a fine line not to look guilty and not to look too mean or bad attacking those that are accusing them.
Regular folks like us can fight dirty cause our bread ain't based on how fools we don't know feel about us. So we can take an accuser out backy and run their name through the mud to protect our name.
All around its a fukked up situation and I really don't envy athletes and their fame.
