Real talk breh anyone who has been watching sports for 15 to 20 years should know this. The teams purposely leak stuff to the media to dirty players names. The NFL does it the best because, the NFLPA Union is weak, the league always has an incentive to lower players salaries or dispose of them when they are no longer needed.

I mean anyone who followed the big ben story knows the steelers and the league had ESPN running interference on the sexual assault issue at the bar.

And if you want to go down this worm hole....NFL security keeps tabs on players and knows every single thing they do. This is all known and been known for decades. Its NFL securities job to know this and why when these kats get busted by the laws...the law asks NFL security for all the info they have.

No owner is going to have anything recorded or written down that will implicate him in terms of having a lawyer come up with false allegations about his teams franchise QB. No owner is risking that.

It's a great "crazy" story to think about there, but no way this has anything to do with ownership. Not a chance.

You being too complex about it, it’s not about creating some false narrative, it’s about releasing information that likely has been known about and treated like nothing and suddenly being released and made something at an opportune time, and if you can’t see the organization benefiting from this I gotta call naïveté on the play here

Look up ex falcon Patrick Kerney and the woman that was raped at his house the year before Vick goes to jail. After vick goes to jail the story of the women getting raped at Patrick Kerneys home comes out. At the time the story breaks Kerney was the best or second best player on the team.

Yet ESPN and no other sports or news network says anything about the story. Not a word besides a back story on ESPN website and even the story is like 1 paragraph long.

So let me get this right a team has its star QB arrested and sent to prison (which everyone covers) and that same season a story comes out of a women getting raped at the star DE's house and yet no one covers this?
