I disagree. The FBI doesn't randomly get involved in criminal cases, and certainly not sexual cases that don't involve murder or a serial rapist. Their presence tells me this case must meet a criteria for them to be there. Here are the FBI's top priorities, according to Wikipedia:
- Protect the United States from terrorist attacks
- Protect the United States against foreign intelligence operations, espionage, and cyber operations
- Combat significant cyber criminal activity
- Combat public corruption at all levels
- Protect civil rights
- Combat transnational criminal enterprises
- Combat major white-collar crime
- Combat significant violent crime
Where does "NFL player sexually harassing massage therapists" fit? Nowhere...which means we've got the possibility of a corruption case where Watson somehow got caught up in a trafficking case (example: Watson asked a massage therapist if she had any younger employees, and ended up being introduced to an underage worker)....OR a corruption case where attorneys, women, and (potentially) an NFL owner conspired to blackmail Watson unless he dropped his trade request. Or something else. Whatever it is, it's gotta be wild.
