Watson just likes to play the line and the stuff that athletes were able to get away with in college and high school had him thinking he could do this at the NFL level, which he was able to until he ruffled managements' feathers and they stopped covering it up. These exec bigwigs know what they are doing and they often allow these athletes to play themselves into a situation in which they can later be extorted over. As long as these guys don't get too excessive with the contract demands or rock the boat too much, they'll keep these activities covered up, but if they want to drop a rookie's draft stock so they'll fall to a later round or if they want a pro player to lower his demands, they'll let this stuff leak out.
It's clear as day that Watson has some kind of fetish with trying to turn massage therapists out and him trying to cross that bridge led to a lot of gray territory that could turn out very bad if the massage therapist later had regrets or wasn't too keen to his advances. He got off on trying to turn these massages into something sexual. I highly doubt he was forceful, but rather, he was inappropriate... and as a 40 million dollar a year man, you can't move like that. In college when you don't have no money and you have a big college willing to cover everything up, there's not the same level of incentive for people to come after you than when you have tens of millions of dollars and your management pulls back your protection... hence the floodgates of accusers coming for a chunk of cash.
