i dont think he deserved mvp cause them media fakkits hated bron with a passion that year, but rose was becoming something special. lord know how his pirme wouldve been without the injuries.

bulls had the best record in the league that year and they swept miami in the regular season and had lebron crying in the car

Hes right though. Hes taking good shots, and his ball distribution has been on point lately. Shots just arent falling, if he starts finishing at the rim, and his midrange gets consistent, he will be on track to getting back to good form
you really think Rose can be a great player again?

Folks love reinvisioning Rose's MVP season as if he didn't deserve it.

A Point Guard who cant shoot and strictly relies on driving to the basket will never win me over :yeshrug:

I never said he was gona be the next Magic, or an all time great, but dude played with heart, made plenty of big shots, and played on a defensive minded team that was built specifically to counter Lebron's strengths in a perpetually weak Eastern conference. If he stayed healthy and the Bulls stayed the course there was every reason to believe at that time that Lebron and the Bulls would've battled in the playoffs for years.

EDIT: That still can happen, but most likely not in the same way with Lebron vs Rose at the forefront.

I was very careful not to use the word 'great'

Honest assessment? I think he can get to all star quality again (think like 17-18 & 7-8, obviously on better efficiency)

His shot selection is much better this season, and hes dishing the ball very well. His shot is off, and he cant finish around the rim right now. Its difficult to watch, but he will improve scoring wise
