It's going to be a long and arduous journey for D Rose to regain back his MVP form, but I think he has the fortitude to come back and perform at a high level. Although this injury is detrimental to a superior athlete like Rose, I think this kind of injury would be more telling for someone like John Wall who purely relies on athleticism. Rose has the basketball sense to succeed without dominating you athletically, albeit, it was what gave him the advantage over his opponents.

This is a no brainer as far as I'm concerned.

I want the Bulls to ship out some of their contracts and just tank. Now is the ideal time to do it.

Not really.

The Bulls as constructed right now had a slim margin of error to win a title anyway. Too many things had to go in their favor for them to win it all. Rose had to be awesome and inconsistent options around him had to be, well consistent.

There wasn't any guarantee that this team healthy would win it all. A lot of us have been thinking about shipping the "core" guys out since last year's outing in the playoffs. This just pushes the process along quicker.
