According to Matt Moore of CBS Sports, the Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Lakers could possibly be in talks of bringing the elder Gasol back to where he started his career, maybe even to play alongside his "little" brother.
Moore speculates at a possible Gasol for Rudy Gay swap, but Id rule that highly unlikely.
According to Sporting News, Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley has no intention of trading Rudy Gay.
Were not looking to trade Rudy Gay. Were not shopping him around. Period, Heisley said.
Well, then.
A trade involving Gay at this juncture certainly seems farfetched after that sentiment from Heisley. However, the Grizzlies could conceivably trade Zach Randolph and a draft pick in exchange for Gasol. Moreover, the Grizz could even send Z-Bo plus a sign-and-trade of O.J. Mayo to give the Lakers a scoring spark off the bench (something theyve been lacking).
Youve got to love trade speculation!

Z-Bo and Mayo
this sound like a real life 2k12 scenerio
What kind of bullshyt speculation is this?
So Williams is 50% staying put, come on bruh mavs is fossils. And Howard once again wants to come to BK. Prokhorov wants his arena to be a success, and having two stars (we'll need another for that Big 3) is only the way to do it, especially with the Lin show about to reopen next season.
Blame Dwight for ruining everything. If he would of played out the whole season and signed as FA, D Will would of followed suit and The Nets wouldn't been stupid and traded their draft pick for fukking Gerald Wallace.
D.Will
Brooks
Gerald Green or DeShawn
Lopez
Dwight
and could of had your draft pick.
Source: SIA source close to Nets point guard Deron Williams said Houston is not likely to be added to his free-agent wish list even if the Rockets get Howard. Williams is focused on the Nets or his hometown team in Dallas, though he is known to be open to joining the Lakers if they were able to pull off a sign-and-trade with Brooklyn.
