I still don't understand Lakers fans Kobe, Bynum, & Gasol alone make $63mil+, the salary cap this year is $58mil. The salary cap isn't going to grow by $20mil for you to just sign him. Those 3 make even more next year plus you got Metta making $7mil+, Blake making $4mil, & Josh McRoberts making $3mil+.

:what:YOU WOULD STILL BE OVER THE CAP.

We're over the cap no matter what. It's a matter of how much. We can't put out a contender without going over at this point. As long as Bean is getting paid 25 mill.

Why would the Nets trade him if he's indicating that he wouldn't mind staying? Seems like he wants to stay and team up with Howard.

The thought of Dwight goin to the Nets is laughable at this point..especially if they don't have a draft pick to offer Orl...why would Orlando take Brook Lopze and trash over Bynum?...lol

The league don't wanna see kobe team with a guy who has all star talent AND heart

Kobe just needs a teammate to halfway match his intensity and effort

Kobe and deron is a championship lock

:what:YOU CANT SIGN D-WILL IF YOURE OVER THE CAP.
AND YOU CANT SIGN A FA WITH THE TPE.
THATS ONLY FOR TRADES.
SO THE GASOL TO CHARLOTTE shyt MAKES NO SENSE,
UNLESS YOU WILLING TO LOSE GASOL & BYNUM.

My Pops Forever RIP
FROM 710 LA

New rumor heard on 710 ESPN
Heard a possibility they could trade Gasol to team like Charlotte for a full $19million trade exception. That would allow them to sign $19mill in salary. For example, they offer Batum $8-9m per year and Dragic $8-9m per year. So that would equal Gasol for Batum/Dragic. Then Humphries for Odom exception. He made $9 last year. Other ideas could be Steve Nash, Jason Terry, Kevin Garnett, Mo Williams, Javale McGee, Lou Williams, Carl Landry, Gerald Wallace. We could trade Bynum if we were able to get Garnett, or Mcgee which then free's up enough money to offer Derron Williams a contract. Kupchak has a lot of options that we were not aware of. I'm feeling good about the possibilities this off season

A trade exemption wouldn't allow them to do that. Trade exemptions work in... TRADES!
