D. Will should have at least 5 All Star nods. They gave some of those spots to Boozer and Okur when D. Will was running the show. Before anyone says "but Williams doesn't play the same position as Boozer and Okur," the last two spots on the All Star team don't have to be a certain position.
Also, has Chris Paul even been out the 2nd round?

They don't need Dwight Howard. The Heat proved, you don't need to put money in a big man like that. They can go out and get...... Greg Oden and another big man to rebound and put money into some role players.
If they get Howard.. they will have no money for nothing else.

The Heat proved that if you have the best player in the league teamed up with another top 5 talent you can win a title, you have to go back to the first 3 peat Bulls to find another team that didn't have a big man that was top 10 in the league.

The Nets already have a center if they don't get Dwight, and he could easily be a top 10 big man in the league. If you don't have some kind of transcendent perimeter player you need a big man to win in the NBA.
I feel like the player most underrated in all this talk is Brook Lopez, people talking as if he's a non-factor.
Even if the Nets dont get Dwight they have a center who can score paired up with Joe Johnson who's gonna benefit just from playing with D-Will who can also score. Marshon Brooks off the bench??? Man I really like Brooks would be sad to give him up in a trade, even for Dwight.

I mean.. they have Lopez which is already a plus. All I'm saying is they don't need to bust their payroll for a player like Dwight with what they all ready have in place. They Nets are in a position to possibly build a better cohesive team than what the Knicks already have.
And honestly I you have to give credit to the Nets for taking a gamble and trading for DWIll out of the blue last year. I didn't think he would stay. They gambled and it paid off.
