Derek Chauvin is serving 21 yr in prison for a crime he didn't commit. Someone just tried to murder him. If they'd do this to him, they'd do it to you

Republicans: There is nothing wrong with a police officer murdering a black man in public, on camera.

Democrats: I'm not sure how reparations might look like.

Coli both siders: This is the same thing.
Here is the problem with your take. Chauvin worked in a Democratic city, with a Democratic mayor who appointed the police chief. Chauvin also had 19 complaints and 2 reprimands against him, before he killed George Floyd. Minneapolis has been a Democratic ran city for over 40 years since, and has voted for the Democratic candidate for the US Presidency since 1976.

So in all of that time of Democratic control, his entire career, through all of the verified complaints about him and him being reprimanded twice; he was able to continue his terror on our people in that city right under the noses of the Democratic controlled government. This is not unique either to that area, the same is happening in Democratic cities all over the nation. Hell, stop and frisk while created by a Republican, (Giuliani) was still continued by a Democratic mayor (Bloomberg). I've lived in multiple cities where there has been a long time Democratic leadership, and still notice the police in those areas are violent and mistreat those of my ethnicity.

So, when I speak about #Bothsides, I am talking about how the Democrats turn a blind eye to circumstances they definitely have the power to fix.

So you made this post to blame the Democrats for Chauvin murdering a black man on camera.

I see.

I made this post to blame them for allowing that man to remain a police officer when it was known he was out there harming Black people. Yes, they have a part to blame in it too. Turning away and acting like this did not happen under their watch, over and over again is some BS.

I have no clue why some of you seem to be too scared to call out the BS when it is coming from the Democrats. Could they have kept this from happening, yes they could have by actually pushing out the racist cops. Instead, they waited until he outright killed a Black man, and it was on film for the world to see (so they could not hide it) to actually do something. That fault can be laid at their feet.

Honestly speaking deep down I think 95% white people think Derek did nothing wrong. Like a crazy high number.
ur probably not too far off when a third of them are willing to admit this to a stranger

I have voted democratic in all of the elections. That does not stop me from calling out the BS, like it does you. I do not blind myself to the missteps of the party I vote for, like you seem to do. So while you may cower with fear at the idea of their malfeasance and negligence being called out, I do not. My vote comes with my right to complain.

I don't seem to do anything. I asked a simple question.
You have this idea that I seem to shy away from criticizing Democrats when clearly you don't know my post history.

But that's fine.

Now to the point.

The reason I asked who you vote for is fairly obvious.
Because even with liberals' shortcomings, the alternative is demonstrably worse.

So what does that mean? It means both sides aren't the same.

And people have a duty to choose the best option available because politics doesn't exist in a vacuum. We don't get points for idealism. We have to work with what we have.

You know this. Because your voting history says it.
So cut the bullshyt and stop quoting me and wasting my fukkin time.

No, you asked a question so that you can see if you can ignore my point by stating I am a Republican. I am not. I am actually an Independent that votes Democratic, because Republicans are not an option for us. Still, that does not mean I can't point out the BS both parties be on. Just because I vote one side, does not mean I must be blind to what the side I am on does wrong.

I've never said both sides are the same. I said both sides be on some BS. There is a difference. One that you are loathed to recognize because you refuse to be critical about the party you are a part of. I explained already in my first post you posted, that when I state both sides, I am talking about actions the Democrats refrain from taking to fix the problems, even when they have the power to do so. That shows to me they are full of shyt too. I never said they were just as bad, but they are bad too. Just that we have to deal in the grey, so I vote for the lesser evil, even when I do not desire to and feel we should have better options.

If anybody ever tells me Floyd didn't die from the knee on his neck, imma tell them okay, let's test it. You get on the ground and imma put my knee on your neck. Since it won't kill you, I'm sure you won't have a problem doing it.

If you survive, you were right. If you die, I was right.

Let's goooo :ohlawd:

So in layman’s terms:
