ill give him another year, but 2 things annoy me about him
-the constant backfoot throws. stop.doing.that.
-not knocking him for being religious but for all the 'To God Be The Glory' shyt hes on, then insists on being the highest paid 'out of respect'. struck me as odd, you were never the best player in the league so why was that needed? 20 was fine

I was chopping it up with Cian Fahey about Carr years back, same as we did with Fitz.
Too many fans don't understand the nuances of the game, falling in love with stats and not the big picture.
It's why I don't give up on some qbs and see how some are overvalued.

And more often than not, he's spot on @Trip. Its funny how the NFL has now incorporated interceptable passes into their own stat keeping, but I'll let you say he's trollish.
And there's nothing trollish about looking at a player's immediate, intermediate and deep passing. Lots of overhyped qbs are check down artists that depend on their receivers to consistently win one on ones rather than making accurate throws. Who gives a fukk about ad hominem attacks of where a dude is from and all of that other trash.

Because we know that's what you do since my analysis on Carr was spot on.
I said his flaws were what they were. He outplayed his thing slightly, but I later (recently) saw that he was doing work against bad teams and Coop was making up for a lot of his mistakes. And I was spot on about his flaws:
- this dude has the jitters when pressure is anywhere near him.
- Off the backfoot throwing like a mug.
- Coop will do a lot for him but he just may be prolonging the problem of keeping Carr as the starter based off of Coops dominace

I said “Derek Carr....overrated” and gave the reasons why.
You can’t argue football without performing one of the four things I mentioned. You just can’t....
How many playoff games has he played in though? Not more than Teddy, and he never will even though Teddy has missed two full seasons
