Of course, OP left out that the cancellation of funds was due to them harassing Jewish students and the university not doing enough to combat that. I'll have to do more research, but the reports say Jewish students have faced relentless violence, intimidation, and anti-Semitic harassment. That does change my stance on this a little bit.

Also, Linda McMahon (yes, that Linda McMahon) is the Secretary of Education. Trump seemed to put a lot of people in positions that they seem unqualified for while talking down on DEI. Make it make sense.
