Depersonalization Disorder

Never really talked to anyone about this thought I might as well share it with the coli. I first experienced this over a decade ago back in high school. I was talking to my homie and all of a sudden felt detached from reality like I was watching a movie. This is probably the weirdest feeling I've ever felt in my life. This isn't something I struggle with constantly it happens very rarely, but when it does its a freaky experience. I've been reading about it because it happened to me a few days ago while I was cutting grass. Has anybody out there ever experience this and do you feel like its something that needs professional help?

The bugged out thing is that most professionals say its linked to past traumatic events and I haven't had any. I've never been beat up, shot, raped, or anything. I also have a pretty vivid memory of my childhood. I can't remember anything that would give me a PTSD effect from my childhood.

I think if it happens often, one may need professional help. I know people who experience this when their anxiety levels are really high.

happens to me, but only for a very short time where i question the reality im in. I'll look at the mirror and see myself and can't figure out who im looking at, feels like i jumped into someone elses body and was super confused.

When I was young I remember trying to fall asleep and my hands for some reason felt real frail, like my brain was experiencing mortality for the first time

a few eyars ago this happened to me, i never had/have anxiety, but i believe it has something to do with multiple big problems in your life that you haven't addressed/haven't figured out how to solve.

if that makes sense, + certain relations with certain people + if you're the type of person that doen't talk about their problems much,

that's just my theory though

Interesting theory I can see myself falling into that category more than PTSD.
