If he fight a good defensive fighter I don't think he'll land that many head shots.
punching to the body will leave him open for counters.. body punches are thes easiest to counter.. he should only throw like five a fight.

with his speed he will not have a problem getting head shots.

Plus he's 6'7....he doesnt need to be leaning over to connect on body shots of 6'0-6'3 heavyweights, just to be countered with an uppercut and possibly KO'd.

Fight tall, circle the ring, pump the jab and keep the sneaky right hand (which has steel attached to it obviously, since he was STILL rocking Stiverne with a broken hand:wow:) followed up behind it for the simple, but yet deadly, 1-2 combination = another Win for Wilder.

It's almost the same thing that Wlad does, except replace "circle the ring" with clinch:yeshrug:

And no, that's not ANY hate on my boy Wlad:ufdup: It's a very effective technique that he uses (like Floyd uses his elbow/forearm) and which is why he's one of the GOAT Heavyweights:ohlawd:

exatcly... that first jab that landed saturday night sounded like a gun shot... i think if he would get koed it would be on some wlad vs sanders, just not using ur hieght.

those long looping shots that those bigs get dont have much steam to them when they finally connect ... i think he should really look into the kllitchkos and follow there formula... he has a good shot against them but hes too green and wlad just has seen it all, i remember talking about the klitchkos back in 1996:damn:

If he only throws head shots a good defensive fighter will beat him. A good defensive fighter is not going to get hit in the head so many times like Stiverne did.

there is a bigger risk of him losing if he would go to the body alot.. . there is no big with hopkins/floyd type of defense.. all bigs are easy to hit except for the klitchkos cuz there so tall.

Forgive me for being off topic for a moment brehs, but I have to ask. Anybody else think Wilder is a little bit "suspect"? Just some of his mannerisms and the dance he does occasionally had me like :scust: He kept doing strange sh!t with his tongue too. Maybe I'm over-analyzing, but something strikes me that he ain't right.

Edit post: Also when he was yelling, "Who can't box!" afterwards, that Southern accent made him sound even more suspect.
