Denzel as Hannibal? Damn
Denzel as Hannibal? Damn
Jaden Smith has expressed interest in the film
Nah, next Black Panther, lil T'Challa Toussaint Louverture better be a grown ass man
Is Denzel in financial trouble or just ready to hang it up?
I'm pretty sure it'll be a role like Wakandan Constitutional Council member. They prob won't put Achebe in anything
It's a create-a-character. If Marvel Studios still has a template, which character would they bring? In the comics, the Wakanda Council are pretty much the senate for Wakanda, somewhat advisors to T'Challa, but have been pretty much running it past few years. Wakanda has transitioned from monarchy to elected officials. It's fairly new and another thing created by his buddy Coates. But that's also how he can still serve as a mentor. He's not gonna be a superhero...there are no more left in Wakanda lore. This is Denzel's movie TRIBUTE to Chad and he has praised the first movie for it's impact.
Come on breh
Denzel is in this movie to SELL TICKETS because they no longer have a gimmick (Chad's passing and Angela Bassett's oscar buzz) to get people in the theater. He aint gonna be a damn council member
Denzel will be a mentor superhero and most likely an "Old man" Black Panther. He will have joint/second billing as DISNEY will want to sell the movie as "come and see Denzel as Black Panther before he retires".
RIP Chadwick The stoic, a$$holelish, and smart T’Challa. Is what we need, CW’s T’Challa was with the shyts.

All of them other accoladed/top billed elders have barely cameo roles, no matter the billing, so why would Denzel be any different? Plus, similar to the others, he doesn't move the needle for the kid crowds they're targeting, so saying "Denzel" does nothing for them. I don't disagree that he'll have some sort of role as an advisor, I just think it'll be more politcal, and not a superhero. If he was, he would've played one 15 years ago. Plus, there would be no reason to "write a role" for him, it would just be "Coogler asked me to do BP."
Set it 15 years after the bullshyt events of BP2 and cast Damson Idris as T’Challa’s son and we’re back in business
